Just got a Ransomes mower [1928] mark 4 with a Blackburn engine but no mag from what i have found out it should have a Wico A along with this mower i cleared out a lot opf stuff an dgot a wico A look’s same as Lister D chain driven and a Lucas offset pin drive the Ransome drive is a small slotted disc, is that how it should be or is something missing, it very much looks like my 1920’s ML disc drive mag Lister D, i did try contacting the Hall and duck trust but that was a waste of time, no answer. i know Blackburn fitted these engine’s in motorcycles but am hopeful someone here has one. i am sadly missing the grass box.
