    Deeping ploughing match was blessed with good weather and nice clean barley stubble. Class 9 garden tractor class was well supported with 9 entries , but 2 no shows.
    Results
    1st Ivan Clark Rollocroftmaster & ransomes TS42A
    2nd Chris Shields Trusty
    3rd Kirtis Bale Trusty
    4th Derren Bale Trusty
    5th Brian Carter Trusty

    After 36 years I’m no longer a novice! My first ploughing match was back in 1979 with my Standard Fordson N with a 2 furrow ransomes motrac plough which my Grandad brought new, who was also present acting as my personal tutor. This too was at Deeping Ploughing Match.
