    came out of barn no paint very rusty– engine red may have been changed–thought it was landmaster but handles don’t match –but ones on look orginal–any in put welcome martin
    farmer trouble with parting with it

    Certainly appears to have Landmaster dna but is rather elaborate for a home modified machine. That wedge shaped fuel tank could be a clue.

    handles looks as if is orginal if someone has beefed it up its one hell of a job
    what sort of engine does it look like— has small round exhaust but end rusted away

    It does look to be Landmaster Gardenmaster based. Not sure how comfortable it will be to use with handles attached where they are, Landmaster handles were attached further back in line with axle.

    fells well balanced –what engine would it be –no plates on it round air cleaner and round exhaust landmaster had briggs and Stratton engines

    I think that the engine is a Kirby Lauson (Australian made Tecumseh).
