Do you have then cowling that goes over the flywheel and magneto assembly? If so a photo of that would help.
Any part numbers on the sump or engine block which you could tell us would help with identification.

Hello all the way from Western Australia I’m working on a Villiers 2 stroke engine which I think it’s a 3g from what I have been told. Can anyone tell me what engine I have. I also have the cylinder head off and there’s quite a bit of physical resistance in the stroke around the TDC Mark, is this normal? caused by the magnets brushing pass the coil ends? I have to use quite a bit of force to rotate the fly wheel thru TDC. thank you.
