Hello, I am currently working on a Mayfield saw. I have stripped it down to blast and needle and have begun to prime and undercoat. Having removed the saw pulley and driving assembly labelled “Hyspeed” I have noticed it is slightly stiff to turn by hand and was wondering if anyone has had one of these in bits. I would assume there are bearings in there which may be worn or out of alignment. It is currently soaking in diesel to help remove the pulley but I am unsure which way to disassemble and extract the shaft and bearings from the housing without causing damage. Any help would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks.
