Hi Guys, just to let you know how I am progressing with The Martin Markham colt tractor, I have got the engine running., it runs sweet as a nut with no smoke so all is ok there, have stripped the rest down, cut out rusted metal from tin work and welded in new, have cleaned off all parts with grinder wire brush down to bare metal, have undercoated with red oxide, and final coat of Hammerite so all is looking good, except for the gearbox.I was wondering if one of you had ever rebuilt one these boxes, or knew someone that had that may be able to help me, with some advice, or where any parts may be available from.or maybe some one who makes these kind of parts, not a lot available on the Isle of Wight.
