After some advise please,
I have recently acquired a Howard 400 rotovator with the hirth d24 engine.
However the engine is past its best so was wondering if anyone could recommend any replacement engine that would fit,
Not bothered if it’s a newer engine, don’t have to try and keep it original or dated, am more in need of having it as a working tool.
Also, is there any difference in the clutch if I replace with a petrol engine.
Sorry for so many questions but not a lot of content on the 400 models available.
