Auto Mower engine.

Asking on behalf of another club member.
Does anyone know anything or have any information about Auto Mower engines? This one is a small 4 stroke engine with magneto mounted on a cast aluminium bracket. It has Auto Mower cast into cover for magneto drive chain and also on carb, top of float chamber has Binks on it.

I do know that Binks was a carburettor manufacturer. No doubt the pre-war motorbike enthusiasts will tell you that.

Otherwise could the name refer to Auto-Mower Ltd who made winches based on Fordson tractors?

Speak to the orical,we own all the ledgers for Automower and every single printing plate they had made for all their products

hd trust, one problem with this engine is it in pieces and not associated with any mower parts. What is needed is engine manual.

trusty220, yes it is the same Auto Mower company, they were based locally at Norton St Philip.
