No date is set as far as I know, the figure of 30 years has been mentioned and for motor vehicles to qualify for historic class taxation it is 40 years. . Although for ploughing the cut off date is 1960.

I have just purchased a Westwood S1300(m).
Manufacturing date 2000 so a little way to go before it becomes a vintage machine. 🙂
