    Hey people
You tube link to a small villiers engine I have been working on.
It was made in 1964 and originally powered my grandfathers cement mixer.
It’s about 35 years since it last ran .
It started out as a mission just to hear it run for nostalgia .
However now it’s running I’m starting to think it could be a good power source for
    A display at a few shows .
I am looking for ideas for something unusual that it could power.
Let imaginations run wild here as I’m open to all sorts of mad ideas.
Don’t mind if it needs major fabrication , turning or just a bit of bodging !!
Give me your ideas and I will see what I can come up with!
Here’s the link to the short video ….

Engine sounds sweet but as these engines are “forced air cooled” you need to refit the tin engine cowling back on as it directs air from the flywheel fan over the cylinder and head to keep it cool !!.

I assume the engine is all that is left of the cement mixer, otherwise you could have shown that. Engine does sound good.

After watching the video this idea has come in my head. As it has a reduction gear box fitted why not make a wind turbine powered by the reduction box and then in the base have an alternator and battery hidden from the publics eyes and then have a selection of coloured lights lit up making it look as if the turbine is powering them up. go for it !!

Do you not think the engine running would give the game away ?
