    Ihave just purchased a trac grip powered by a lister diesel anyone any information about it

    Made by Hatch Brothers of Callington, Cornwall, circa 1950’s. Manufacturing rights later acquired by Wagstaff and Gladwell Ltd and sold as the WAGE, (information taken from 70 Years of Garden Machinery by Brian Bell).

    all the other trac grips I have seen have a petrol engine mine has a diesel engine anyone else seen a deisel one.

    Normally they have a BSA 420 engine, here’s a post from the old Tractorbox Forum….

    I’ve had a look for any adverts relating to the trac-grip and the only ones for Hatch Bros are for their poultry sheds etc.

    However around the 1950’s their adverts have their full address as Station Road Appliance Works, Kelly Bray, Callington, Cornwall, which may help if anyone does any research.
