    How do I get gears out of gearbox? I have stripped everything off chassis, but cannot tilt gears sideways to remove.

    Hi,
    Have you removed the 2 outer bearing filler strips from the main chassis?
    You will need to push the left hand drum and shaft as far in as possible.
    Start by lifting vertically then tilt up on left side with right brake drum entering the gap in the side plate.
    This can be a bit of a struggle on your own.

    Many thanks to Ransomes256. I got the job done in one hour after finding the spacers – hidden in rust & paint! Unfortunately gear selector came apart & I now have to work out correct position.
