Very interesting to read Alistair Holts article in this latest Cultivator, I have often wondered what the different engine number letters were about. I have 5 Drayton engines on various Ransomes machines so I will have to have a look more closely at the engine codes. Please can you write a similar article Alistair on the topic of the Sachs engines and how they came to be offered alongside the Draytons. The yellow Whitlock in the photos is my WR8 Whitlock loading shovel not a skimmer as labelled.
