A good variety of implements were on show at this event, held on 9th and 10th August 2014 at Haynes Motor Museum, Sparkford, Somerset.
Photo 1 is Roy Watts’ French made Vermorel Sprayer, Cooper-Pegler had the rights to these but this one doesn’t have their badge on it.
Photo 2 is my display of sprayers.
Photo 3 is Roy with an unusual spray lance, it has MM logo and a patent no. which I will look up.
Photo 4 is a close up of the trigger with logo.
Photo 5 is a collection of interesting push hoes and seeders shown by a gentleman who normally demonstrates flint knapping. He brought this collection from the attic, it belonged to his father.
Photo 6 is his duplex disc hoe.
Photo 7 is a Boby seeder and a Planet with the round seed container, he’s sure the container is in the attic!

A good assortment. The name Vermorel was used on a number of Cooper Pegler products as illustrated by adverts below from The Fruit Grower magazine.

513,013. Valve-actuating mechanism ; nozzles. MARVEN B., and MACPHERSON, A. J. March 29, 1938, No. 9618. [Classes 69 (iii) and 135] A hand-controlled nozzle of the kind in which a spring closed valve is unseated by a rod 15 moved axially by a hand lever 20 pivoted to the forward end of the nozzle body, is provided with a link 23 pivoted at 24 to the lever 20 and bearing on the rod 15, guided substantially along the axis thereof by a pin 21 working in a siot 22, the pivot 19 of the lever being in the line of the axis of the rod. The link 23 is normally at an angle to the rod 15 and so arranged that the toggle system constituted by the link and lever may be brought towards but not beyond the dead centre. An additional spring 25 may be provided bearing against the lever 20.
