Hi, Just fitted a new condenser to my Howard Gem (JAP 600 engine), when we turn it over it fires for a few seconds and then cuts out, I think it might be something to do with air mixture but would appreciate others thoughts on this matter. The other thing is when I get the piston at TDC on the compression stroke the timing chain is really tight but when the engine is turned one revolution the timing chain is slack, is this normal.
