    I have at last been able to establish exactly where the Geo Monro site was in Station Approach, Waltham Cross. The attached file shows an aerial view of the site, you can see the M25 just to east of jcn 10, note North is at bottom of image.

    Yet another important site that has been redeveloped and lost forever. Maybe we ought to record as many of these buildings as we can whilst they are still standing.

    I was thinking the same. Perhaps a new series in The Cultivator and addition to survivors pages.

    I did visit the site of the Auto Culto factory, the only remains from that time are a few cobbles in the road, the factory site is now riverside flats.
    Thames bridge house, which was the company address in the late sixties is still standing though.
