Garner 5

Hi all,
Iv managed to acquire the remnants of a garner 5 tractor and was wandering what the chances are of finding any parts.
A few weeks ago I attended the sale of the collection of the late Chris Madison, for the stationary Engines really but to cut a long story short, the garner 5 was bought by a scrap buyer, to the dissmay of Chris’s wife Mary. In the end I managed to acquire it and agreed to try and restore it for her too see.
Sadly Its some major components, mainly engine, gearbox and back axle. Do I stand any chance of finding these things?, I’m sure there’s plenty more missing but just stating the obvious. I will try and get some pictures tomorrow.

I think the engine fitted was a J.A.P model 5 so you should be able to find one of those quite easily.

To be honest I don’t see the Engine causing much trouble. More the gearbox and back axle that will cause more of an issue.
