    I’ve got quite a collection of literature now and the clothing that the models wear is interesting. Since we were asked to wear period clothes at Manor Farm, Southampton a while ago I’ve always tried to match my outfit here are a few inspirations….

    That young chap in the first photo is from 1968, bit of an attitude going on there!
    Man driving the Titan is probably a Wolseley sales manager, from 1966.
    Chap with the Tarpen Chain saw has a Polo neck he’s from April 1962
    Finally the saw bench operator looks like a customer trying out the saw bench from 1960…

    Is the chap on the circular saw wearing a tie? what a h&s
    issue that would make today. Great to see the style of clothes that
    we were wearing in my youth. Might be a new idea for the club working
    weekend at Weeley, A V H G M C fashion parade. Mmm food for thought.
